There are many types of condo Philippines today that Filipinos can freely choose from. Due to the large demand of condominiums as well as its popularity among many Filipinos, its numbers steadily grew throughout the years. And today, the number of condominiums have grown so much that a few new types of condominiums were introduced in the market. Part of these includes condominium complexes.
What is a condominium complex?
A condominium complex is a type condominium which is similar to that of townhouse complexes, a popular type of townhouse in most Asian countries today. Similar to townhouse complexes, these types of condominiums are usually sited on a wide expanse of land, typically made up of smaller condominium buildings. And similar to townhouse complexes, these types of condominiums are usually found in the outskirts while some are found in provincial areas.
According to many Filipinos, condominium complexes are some of the most popular types of condominiums in the Philippines today. Part of its popularity is because of its affordability. Because of its usual location, condominiums in these areas are normally cheaper compared to condominiums found in the city, specifically in major business districts such as in Makati City and Ortigas.
However, there are several condominium complexes which are also known for its expensiveness. These types of condominium complexes, however, are known for its amenities. Similar to townhouse complexes, many condominium complexes are known for their amenities including high security and resort facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, and recreational areas such as parks and playgrounds.
Difference with city condominiums
Major differences between a condominium complexes from a normal condominium found in the city is with its amenities and location. Most
condo Philippines, such as those found in the city, though known for their luxury, usually lacks with amenities (though a few condominiums are known to provide indoor swimming pools for the enjoyment of their residents).
Condominium complexes are also found in far off locations, which are known mostly for its quiet and peaceful environment. However, one disadvantage of these types of condo Philippines is that it puts its residents too far from their workplaces, an inconvenience that many would like to avoid. The advantage of most condominium complex from city condominiums is its affordability.

These condominiums are also known for the same amenities. However, these types are usually more expensive than condominium complexes found in the outskirts.
